Monua Cary was the 1995 Women’s World Sport Jujitsu Champion (WCJJO) and the first American Woman to win this title. She was Head Coach for the U.S. Jujitsu Team (WCJJO) 2007-2009. She was the West Coast Representative for USSJA, the Co-Founder of the Independent Warriors Association, Nevada Representative for the Global Network of Professional Reality Based Fighting Instructors, and owner of Cary’s Combat & Martial Arts Systems. Monua owned the Dog Soldier Fight Team, and was the Co-Author of The Accountability Project: GET THE #$%! OUT OF THE BOX!
Monua Cary has been inducted into numerous Halls of Fame including the 2012 USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame Hall of Heroes as Jujitsu Master of the Year, into the 2011 Masters Hall of Fame with a Life Achievement Award, the 2008 United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame as Female Master of the Year. She was the 2010 Woman of The Year Global Network of Professional Reality Based Fighting Instructors and the 2010 inductee into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
Monua Cary is a 7th Dan in Jujitsu. She is a Jujitsu Instructor, and Women’s Self Protection Instructor.
