Shihan Kevin Chatwood Has been active in the martial arts for over forty-five years and is certified in instructing police and military personnel.
Along with his Instructor Master Douglas Grose, Founder of the American Jiu-Jitsu Karate Association International, Kevin Chatwood has taught police and military personnel, private and corporate security teams and undercover law enforcement and professional bodyguards. He is widely sought after for his Close Quarters Combat skills.
Kevin Chatwood is in the AJKAI Hall of Fame and the Universal Martial Arts Association Hall of Fame. He is the first recipient of the Soke Mike Hancock Modern Day Warrior Award from the Universal Martial Arts Association.
Kevin Chatwood holds Dan rank in Jiu-Jitsu, several styles of Karate, Kobudo, Judo and Aikido. During the late 70’s and early 80’s Shihan Chatwood fought undefeated in tournament and professional kumite.
Sensei Chatwood instructs private students and was completing a book on Shinto Yoshin Jiu-Jitsu that was started with Master Douglas Grose.
Shihan Chatwood is Vice-President of the AJKAI and is a Life member of the AJKAI, IOBK, UMAA, the USJJF, the USMAF and associated with and is an advisor for numerous Martial Arts Organizations.
