Dr. Carol Womack has studied Karate and Kodudo for 36 years. She is an 8th degree Black Belt in Isshinryu Karate. Carol is a 7th degree Black Belt in Tokushinryu Karate under Tokumura Kensho Sensei, 9th Dan of Okinawa for 22 years. She is a 5th Dan in Ryukon Kai Kobudo under Iha Kotaro Sensei of Okinawa, 10th Dan.
Carol travels extensively to Okinawa, Japan to train in Karate and Kobudo in order to bring the history and culture of Okinawa martial arts to Karate students in the USA. Carol holds a MA and MFA in Fine Arts, with an emphasis on Painting. She has a Doctorate in Higher and Post-Secondary Education.
