Rondy McKee worked in advertising and marketing in Detroit before starting her own agency. She learned Martial Arts and earned several Black Belts from Grandmaster Tiger Chung, becoming part owner of the school. She then joined the Korean Tigers Pro Team, and moved to South Korea for 2 years. She was the only Caucasian on the team so she was nicknamed the "White Tiger". When she returned to the state in 1996 she opened the school White Tiger Taekwondo & Martial Arts in North Carolina.
